So I have some good news: I am finally switching to a new rheumatologist!
The time seemed right to stop going to the place where I have Dr. Seuss characters staring at me on the walls and to switch to a rheumatologist that is more appropriate for my age and who is more knowledgeable about the adult progression of RA since that seems to be the path that my disease is currently on.
I am a little nervous about this doctor switch though. My pediatric rheumy has been great, and the whole team there was great through the infusions, and injections, and answering my questions about medications time and time again and I’m really hoping that this next place will be the same. But my appointment is Monday the 4th (so glad that I got in so quickly) so I will be sure to post an update…maybe…I seem to be slacking in that department.
